Pharma Manufacturing - Supply planning, ERP-driven execution
The Opportunity
For a global pharmaceutical supply chain environment, we are looking for an Execution Planner / Supply Chain Specialist to support end-to-end supply planning and execution activities.
This is a contract role (ASAP – end of year) with 50% on-site presence in French-speaking Switzerland. The working language is English only.
You will play a key role in ensuring product availability by translating demand into executable supply plans, coordinating with manufacturing sites and logistics partners, and proactively managing inventory risks.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Execution
- Create, maintain, and execute supply plans for Drug Substance, Drug Product, and Finished Goods
- Coordinate closely with internal and external manufacturing sites to balance demand, service level, and operational efficiency
- Ensure inventory levels and purchase orders are accurate and aligned with demand
Demand & Supply Alignment
Use ERP and planning systems (e.g. SAP, MRP) to manage demand propagation and supply requirementsMonitor demand changes and adjust supply plans and production schedules accordinglySupport smooth execution of planning cycles across sitesStakeholder & Supply Chain Collaboration
Work with global and local supply chain stakeholders to ensure continuity of supplyParticipate in supply chain alignment meetings and flag risks earlySupport cross-functional coordination with logistics and planning teamsProjects & Continuous Improvement
Support supply chain improvement initiatives and planning process optimizationContribute to new product introductions, government tender supply, and clinical supply when requiredEnsure master data accuracy in collaboration with relevant teamsYour Profile
1 year experience in supply chain planning, execution, or operationsExperience in pharmaceutical, biotech, GMP regulated manufacturing environmentsSolid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory managementHands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data analysis toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAble to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentFluent English required (no French required)Education
