Tasks

About the Job

We are entering a breakthrough phase in high-speed modulation. By integrating electro-optic materials like thin-film lithium niobate onto our SiN platform, we’ve achieved record-breaking results. As our new Fabrication Engineer, you will be the bridge between R&D innovation and production-ready reality. You will :

• Execute prototype and small-scale fabrication runs for photonic integrated circuits in all technical areas (lithography, thin film, etching, characterization and back-end)
• Document quality errors and plan the corrective actions.
• Contribute to process improvement projects to improve yield and reduce defects of released processes and processes in development.
• Contribute to new equipment / process validation
• Responsible for the statistical process control (SPC) data collection.
• Contribute to SOPs maintenance and creation
• Interact with equipment engineers at CMI for smooth fabrication of the runs Support the training and knowledge transfer to new team members
