Postdoctoral Researcher in Drug Resistance Evolution
Job description
PI : Prof. Barbora Trubenova) is hosted by (Institute of Integrative Biology). The workplace is at Eawag Dübendorf campus.
Profile
The candidate is able to work independently as well as part of a small team, has strong self motivation and is able to develop new skills to explore new topics.
The project requires the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment, and excellent communication and data analysis skills.
The working language is English.
Strong candidates have a Ph.D. in Genetics, Computational Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field. A strong background in evolutionary population genetics, with expertise in mathematical model-ling and simulation, is valuable.
Prior experience in integrating diverse datasets and developing com-putational tools for data analysis and Interest in designing and implementing databases is a strong plus.
Strong candidates have a track record of productivity demonstrated by publications in reputable scientific journals.
