The Position
Digital health technology is transforming the way we develop personalized medicines for patients. Roche is dedicated to creating community- and regulator-accepted digital endpoints and digital outcomes that redefine the way we measure disease progression in clinical drug trials, and make them accessible to Biopharma companies and the research community. We are looking for a Workflows Solution Manager to co-create and drive the development of new solution capabilities supporting the collection, storage, processing and analysis of digital endpoints for multiple disease areas, to accelerate the development of novel digital biomarker data insights products.
Job Mission
We, the Digital Biomarker (dBM) Chapter in Roche Information Solutions, are an integrated team of scientists, technologists, data analysts and operationalization experts, that leverages mobile technologies like smartphones and wearables to collect objective and continuous sensor data from patients in clinical trials.
We co-create innovative digital remote monitoring concepts for sensitive and meaningful drug development endpoints, implement them in technology solutions, develop health related outcome measures with the data, seek community- and regulatory acceptance of corresponding endpoints and offer them to Biopharma companies and research institutes for use in clinical trials.
Moreover, we are establishing the scientific foundations for disease monitoring and screening solutions in clinical practice.
Your impact
Acting as the Workflows Solution Manager in the Digital Biomarker Workflows Subchapter you will :
Develop new ideas for data capture & processing capabilities and strategy for execution
Develop concepts for data capture & processing capabilities to seamlessly integrate mobile sensor data workflows in the clinical development processes for customers with needs in areas of Disease understanding / Company internal drug decision-making / Regulatory treatment approval / Clinical trial participant selection / Supporting Roche’s on-market product development in the software as a medical device space.
Drive solution capability roadmaps and requirements definition
Oversee and drive evaluation processes to identify required adjustments before launch of new capabilities
Work with customer experience and feedback to identify improvements to capabilities and digital biomarker solutions
Identify and analyze opportunities for solution cost optimization
Work closely with solution architects and systems engineering teams responsible for the design and implementation of RIS Digital Biomarker products
Work with specialists across the Digital Biomarker Chapter (dBM Science, Data Insights, Clinical Integration and Operations) on the design of digital biomarker workflows.
Your profile
Intrinsic passion for applying innovative technology solutions to digital health use cases
University degree (Master, or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Informatics, Quantitative Natural Science or related field with a minimum of 5 years related experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Deep understanding of digital biomarker use cases and clinical trial workflows
Extensive experience in the area of sensor data and digital biomarker development, combined with the ability to conceptualize complex solutions and products
5+ years experience with management of informatics solutions and / or technical product management
Extensive experience with roadmap development and requirements definition
Experience working in large, high-performance teams in matrix organizations.
