Within the CP COO Office, the Cross Border Expert will provide support and advice to staff across the Private Clients business regarding cross border matters and all related projects.

Cross border officer - Geneva

Your Mission  :

  • Review and provide independent reviews with regards to the interpretation of the Cross-border manuals and their operationalization into the Bank’s processes and workflows
  • Provide analysis & reports on cross border compliance framework efficiency to CP COO and relevant committees. Identify potential areas of improvement with regards to XB risks mitigation measures and propose corrective action plans whenever required.
  • Support & assist with audit enquiries and recommendations related to Cross border matters to ensure consistency across the Groupe .
  • Be a cross-border expert contact for front office by supporting and advising on Cross border related matters.
  • Maintain an efficient Cross-border training program as well as review and update the relevant Cross border trainings on a regular basis.
  • Provide active support on cross border rules to the 2nd or 3rd lines as well as be the first point of contact for IT project on cross border related matters.
  • Drive the review and updates of Cross border related policies and procedures
  • Maintain the agenda of the cross-border committee, the action log and draft the minutes.

Your Profile  :

  • University degree in laws or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of Experience in banking & finance sector or in a risk or compliance management functions.
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Excellent professional knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Good understanding in Risk and cross border regulations and practices in the private banking sector.
  • Analytical & problem-solving mindset. Output driven
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication, presentation skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment
  • Must be resident in CH
