An established investment firm is seeking a structured and driven Transaction Manager to act as the primary operational “Control Tower” for its Real Estate investment platform .
The successful candidate will own the transaction execution process, ensuring that cross-border deals move seamlessly from Investment Committee approval through final closing and asset onboarding. This role serves as the central link between internal deal teams, external operating partners, legal advisors, and investors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transaction Coordination & Structuring
Deal Execution : Act as the central coordinator during the execution phase, managing the critical path from due diligence through closing.
Cross-Border Structuring : Support the establishment of SPVs and coordinate with advisors across multiple jurisdictions to ensure structural integrity.
Onboarding : Manage end-to-end KYC / AML processes for acquisitions, financing arrangements, and investor capital.
2. Investment Governance
Investment Documentation : Compile and structure Investment Committee materials, transforming technical inputs into clear, decision-ready documentation.
Compliance & Risk : Ensure all regulatory, tax, and risk-related checks are completed prior to submission.
Minutes & Tracking : Record Investment Committee minutes and track post-approval conditions and follow-up actions.
3. Post-Trade Monitoring & Portfolio Operations
Data Integrity : Ensure accurate entry of deal data into portfolio management systems and proper archiving of legal documentation (e.g., SPAs, loan agreements).
KPI Oversight : Monitor post-trade performance, tracking asset-level KPIs against the original underwriting case.
Funding & Cash Flow : Coordinate capital calls, drawdowns, and funding mechanics; monitor use of proceeds in line with investment mandates.
4. Investor Relations Operations
Marketing Support : Translate Investment Committee materials into polished investor-facing content (teasers, one-pagers, presentations).
Data Room Management : Maintain virtual data rooms and manage Q&A processes during fundraising activities.
Reporting : Provide operational inputs for investor reporting and internal audit processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education : Master’s degree in Finance, Law, or Business Administration.
Experience : 5+ years in Transaction Management, Middle Office, or Fund Operations within Real Estate, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or a leading professional services firm.
Technical Knowledge :
Strong understanding of the real estate investment lifecycle.
Solid grasp of fund accounting principles and cross-border SPV governance.
Digital Proficiency :
Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to present complex investment themes.
Advanced Excel skills, including fund flow and waterfall analysis.
Experience with portfolio management systems is an advantage.
Languages : Full professional proficiency in English. Additional European language skills are a plus.
