Your tasks
- Thermal coating of aircraft engine parts with a variety of coating equipment, fixtures and coating processes (plasma coating, arc spraying, HVOF)
- Prepare and post-process parts to be coated, which includes surface protection, grit blasting and blending
- Create and run robotic programs on 6-axis robots (ABB)
- Perform operations on equipment to maintain functionality, such as adding coating powder, changing spray nozzles, checking fluids and filters, alignment of equipment, etc.
- Maintain the equipment in excellent operating condition and do troubleshooting on the equipment to resolve issues quickly
- Working closely with process and equipment engineers, machinists and laboratory specialists in order to meet all specifications
- Interpret OEM repair manuals, drawings, manufacturing specifications, shop orders as required
- Use of part handling devices, in order to load / unload parts
- Maintain work area using 5S standards (cleaning, returning of fixtures, basic maintenance and servicing on machines)
