Job Description

You will be part of a global, evolving and dynamic team of database administrators. As part of this team and based in Geneva, you will have both regional and global responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can fill in this unconventional role, straddling both traditional, on premises databases and also being an important player in our cloud ecosystems. If this is you or you have a vested interest to upskill yourself in Cloud database setup and administration, coming from a more traditional DBA background, we would like to hear from you.

Main duties and responsibilities :

• Ensure deployment, support and being accountable on-premises and in the Cloud on the following areas :  Databases hosting & infrastructureDatabases Administration & SecurityOracle middleware productsCTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management platform) and Analytics applications : installation, critical business process monitoring and business & developer support
• Support and interact with teams across infrastructure, security, network and applications both regionally and globally
• Document standards and follow procedures
• Monitor and manage databases and Unix equipment WW
• Performance Tuning
