What Youll Do:

• Design develop and execute test plans and test cases for embedded IoT systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
• Analyse system requirements and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Perform functional regression integration and system testing on embedded platforms
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues reporting defects with detailed documentation
• Set up and maintain test environments including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and simulation setups
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes tools and methodologies for embedded/IoT products
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers sharing best practices and technical expertise
• Participate in code reviews risk assessments and release planning to ensure product quality

Requirements

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field
• Prior experience in QA/testing for embedded systems or IoT devices
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems microcontrollers and IoT architectures
• Proficiency in test automation for embedded platforms (e.g. Pytest)
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and real device testing
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. UART SPI I2C BLE LoRa MQTT)
• Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies (Agile CI/CD)
• Experience with test management tools defect tracking and version control (e.g. Jira Git)
• Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
