Job Title : Executive Chef

Location : Onboard Luxury 6-Star Cruise Ship

Employment Type : Contract (4 months on, 2 months off)

Salary : $9,000 USD tax-free (paid only during working months)

About the Role

  • Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all galley operations, maintaining six-star culinary standards.
  • Supervise daily food preparation and ensure impeccable presentation and quality across all dining venues.
  • Lead and inspire a multicultural team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Maintain compliance with stringent health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and food cost control to ensure efficiency.
  • Deliver excellence under high-pressure conditions, as there are no days off during the 4-month contract.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in the luxury cruise operations, such as six-star cruise lines.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional culinary expertise, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to cover the initial costs of certifications (STCW, Seaman’s Book, C1D Visa, and medical exams).
