Laboratory Equipment Category Buyer

Job description : Key Responsibilities

• Lead RFx processes, vendor selection, and commercial negotiations (EPAs, framework and master agreements).
• Develop and implement the Lab Equipment category strategy aligned with business needs, supply market capabilities, and project execution.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Project Procurement, and key collaborators to align priorities, support project delivery, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead supplier relationship management, performance, compliance, and development through scorecards and governance.
• Act as the primary escalation point for supplier or customer issues, coordinating with Contracts and Claims where needed.
• Drive change management by challenging traditional spend, specifications, and service levels to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks through proactive risk management and mitigation plans.
