Our client is a leading Medical Technology company in Switzerland. It is headquartered in Central Switzerland and has a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners.

We are looking for a :

System Engineer 80-100%

for a permanent role to be based in Central Switzerland area.

As a System Engineer, you will :

  • Maintain the System Architecture : Collaborate closely with the project team to define and manage the system architecture of cutting-edge medical devices.
  • Define Product Requirements : Identify system components, define their interfaces, and ensure alignment with key factors like patient safety, customer requirements, functionality, reliability, testability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration : Work in close cooperation with hardware, electronics, embedded software development teams, ensuring smooth integration across disciplines.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Guarantee that the developed medical devices meet the required regulatory standards by planning and guiding the integration and verification activities.
  • Risk Management : Actively participate in risk analysis in line with ISO 14971, identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks in collaboration with specialist departments.

What You Bring Along :

  • A technical or scientific degree (B.Sc. FH, M.Sc. ETH or equivalent).
  • Several years of experience in medical device development or regulated environments, with additional experience in software development considered a plus.
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and the medical device development lifecycle.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
