Location : Geneva (Hybrid, on-site presence expected) | Experience : 5+ Years | Language : English (C1+)
Mission
As our Product Owner for Web & Back-Office, you are the driving force behind the digital systems that power our daily operations. You won’t just manage a list of tasks; you will be the essential bridge between complex business needs, spanning Logistics, Finance, and Compliance, and high-impact technical solutions.
Your goal is to transform intricate operational challenges into seamless, scalable workflows that empower our internal teams and enhance the customer journey.
You will operate under the direct responsibility of the Product Manager and the Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Discovery
Product Team Synergy : Work closely with the Product team to ensure the squad’s efforts contribute to the broader product vision.
Strategic Prioritization : While the business defines the priority of needs, you are responsible for triangulating value. You don't just "order" tickets; you weigh business urgency against technical feasibility, squad capacity, and strategic alignment.
Problem Discovery : Partner with Product Manager to uncover friction points across the entire journey : from Front-Office user pain points to Back-Office operational bottlenecks.
User-Centric Design : Partner with the UX / UI team to bridge the gap between customer delight and operational efficiency. You will ensure that our Front-Office interfaces provide a seamless experience for users, while our Back-Office tools are built with the same level of intuition and usability to empower our internal teams.
Backlog Leadership : Own the Web perimeter (Frontend & Backend) from initial concept to final release.
2. Precision Execution (Delivery)
Agile Craftsmanship : Lead Sprint Planning, Refinements, and Retrospectives etc.
Be familiar with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, and ShapeUp etc), to be able to choose the right tool for the job.
Actionable Specs : Write "ready-to-dev" User Stories with airtight acceptance criteria.
The "Shield" : Protect the squad from "scope creep" while remaining agile enough to pivot when business data demands it.
3. Operational Partnership
The Translator : Act as the primary liaison for Finance, Logistics, and CS etc. You translate "we need a report" into "scalable solutions and intuitive dashboards."
Change Management : Ensure that when we ship a feature, the business knows how to use it. You own the "Success" of the release, not just the "Deploy."
4. Quality & Growth (Added Value)
Data-Driven Insights : Monitor key success metrics (KPIs) for the feature you ship.
Continuous Improvement : Work with QA and Tech Leads to reduce technical debt and improve the SDLC.
Who You Are
The Experienced Pilot : You have 5+ years in Product Ownership. You’ve seen projects fail and succeed, and you know how to navigate the middle.
The E-commerce Edge (Real ++) : While not our only focus, experience in the E-commerce sector is a significant advantage. Understanding the lifecycle from checkout to fulfillment helps you anticipate complex business impacts.
The Complexity Tamer : You love back-office and operational logic. You find beauty in a perfectly mapped operational flow.
The Diplomat : You can say "No" to a stakeholder in a way that makes them feel heard but keeps the team focused.
Bilingual (Bonus) : French is a plus, but your English is sharp, professional, and persuasive.
Your Toolbox
Methodology : Scrum, Kanban, ShapeUp, Lean
Product Tools : Jira (Advanced Roadmaps), Omniplan, Miro, Figma, FigJam, Hotjar
Documentation : Confluence, BPMN, Draw.io
Data & Analytics : Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, or SQL (basic)
Technical Understanding : REST APIs, Postman, SDLC, Git, Sentry; Headless CMS (Sanity)
