ph3Overview /h3 pThe Clinic for Radiation Oncology Medical Oncology (Vetsuisse-Faculty, University of Zurich, Switzerland) is seeking to fill a position for a /p h3Position Details /h3 pThe position is expected to last for 1-2 years. Requirements include a completed degree in veterinary medicine and an interest in oncology. This is a full-time position as part of an internship and, in accordance with our guidelines, is remunerated with a salary of approximately CHF 68,000 in the first year. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTreatment of oncology patients (with a focus on chemotherapy and medical oncology) /li liIndependent communication with pet owners and referring veterinarians /li liEvaluation and assessment of oncology patients under the supervision of a senior physician /li liAssistance with inpatient care and further diagnostics /li liNo night shifts are required. /li liOn weekends (every 3 to 4 weeks), you will be expected to assist with the care of any inpatients on a pro-rata basis. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pWe are looking for an independent and proactive individual who can organize themselves well within the daily clinical routine. Colloquial German language skills (at least B2 level) and good English skills are required for this position. The possibility of a future oncology residency (medical oncology) may be considered. /p h3What We Offer /h3 pWe offer a paid oncology internship.
