About the Role
We are seeking a Junior M&A / Private Equity Analyst to join our clients team and support transaction execution across direct investments in Switzerland. This role is well suited to a candidate with a strong engineering or technical background , combined with initial exposure to M&A, or investment analysis.
You will work closely with senior professionals on origination, execution, and portfolio-related activities, gaining hands-on experience across the full transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Support M&A and private equity transactions from origination to closing
• Perform financial analysis , valuation modeling, and company assessments
• Prepare investment memoranda , pitch books, and management presentations
• Conduct commercial, financial, and technical due diligence
• Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and comparable transactions
• Assist in interactions with clients, management teams, advisors, and investors
• Contribute to deal structuring and transaction documentation
Profile & Requirements
• 6 to 12 months of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or transaction services
• Engineering degree (industrial, mechanical, electrical, life sciences, or similar)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Solid understanding of corporate finance, valuation methods, and financial statements
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in French, German, and English (written and spoken)
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and intellectual curiosity
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a high level of professionalism
