Business Analyste IT (m/w)

Ärztekasse Genossenschaft provides business process outsourcing and eHealth solutions to health professionals so they get relief from administration and can focus on medical work.

In the context of an innovation initiative, Ärztekasse is renewing and extending their products. To support this digitalization step, we are looking for smart and experienced requirements engineers to contribute and create clever and creative solutions for a meaningful industry.

• Lead the requirements engineering process for software development projects.
• Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to understand and capture customer needs, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct requirements workshops and meetings to gather information, clarify requirements, and resolve conflicts.
• Analyze and prioritize requirements, identifying dependencies, conflicts, and gaps.
• Develop clear and concise software requirements specifications, including use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
• Collaborate with software architects and designers to ensure alignment between software requirements, architectural decisions and UX design.
• Proactively identify and communicate potential risks, issues, and challenges related to requirements, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Work with testing teams to ensure proper test coverage and alignment of test plans with defined requirements.
• Participate in Agile development activities such as sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices in requirements engineering and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Senior Requirements Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
• Solid technical background in software engineering, including knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., Confluence and JIRA) and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality, with the ability to identify and address potential risks and issues.
• Proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certifications in requirements engineering (e.g., IREB CPRE, IIBA CBAP) or related fields are a plus.
• Previous experience in relevant domains such as healthcare, finance, or e-commerce is advantageous.
• English B1-B2 (minimum) required
