The Competition
EY-Parthenon NextGen Womenis an exciting two-stage competition designed to empower female students to take their first step in the world of Strategy and Transactions at EY-Parthenon. Challenge your technical abilities in a group and showcase your individual skills during our Swiss competition on 6th (online) and 7th (in-person in our Zurich office) May 2026.
Country winners are invited to attend the global finals and collaborate to solve a case study, culminating with the announcement of the EY NextGen Women global winners. Country winner receives an internship in Strategy and Transactions and advances to the global finals. The internship will start between September 2026 and March 2027. Various prizes, including mentoring, await global winners.

Diving into Strategy & Transactions
EY Strategy and Transactions helps enable clients to navigate complexity by reimagining their eco-systems, reshaping their portfolios and reinventing themselves for a better future. Our focus is on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, IPOs, carve-outs to spin off parts of a company and much more - all while never losing sight of the big picture: the work in this area is fascinating and challenging.

Who we are looking for
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Switzerland in a field of study that demonstrates an interest in business and can be leveraged to build a career in Strategy and Transactions. Some examples may include (not limited to) Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Management, Marketing;
• Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in German advantageous; French is a plus;
• Ability to work in Switzerland without restrictions;
• Passionate about Building a Better Working World, demonstrated through extra-curricular and/or community service projects;
• Interested in a practical learning approach and in learning-by-doing;
• Curious about new ways of working and how the use of technology can impact how businesses make decisions;
• A strong team player with the ability to build quality relationships with colleagues and clients;
• Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable working with data and ability to recognize patterns;
• Being a creative thinker with a global mindset and inclusive mentality.

• Be curious: Look into current topics and trends influencing the Swiss and international business world;
• Make a list of all open questions regarding your career planning that are important to you;
• Be open: Together we will think "out of the box" and question the status quo.
