About the team you are joining

Reporting to the Director Flight & Technical Operations within the Operations, Safety & Security (OSS) Division, the Coordinator will support the team, actioning multi-level communications with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and assisting in various administrative tasks and duties that are central to the functionality of the OSS division.

What your day would be like

Will assist the OSS team in the submission of papers, reports and presentations, maintaining consistency and uniformity

Position will deal with projects as assigned by the OSS directors, coordinate on their behalf

Position will also assist with administrative duties as assigned, as well as SAP when necessary

Maintain and update documents so as to ensure consistency and uniformity

Support OSS team members on administrative tasks

Collaborate with different work groups to ensure OSS needs and objectives are safeguarded

Foster positive working relationships with the OSS team and other workgroups, departments and IATA divisions

Engage with internal & external stakeholders, including IATA regional teams in the initiation and implementation of administrative tasks that are within scope

Assume overall responsibility for the development, filing, tracking, distribution and upkeep of relevant documents, reports, papers and presentations

Interface and provide periodic and timely updates / guidance to the OSS team

Liaise with internal departments and branches to ensure alignment of objectives

Represent IATA OSS during appropriate events, presentations, meetings etc.

The intention for this position is to learn the various aspects of OSS and to take on special projects as they arise

Other duties will he handled as assigned

Appropriate administration and coordination knowledge and experience

Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint, Power Automate) is required

Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills

Excels in a self-directed and team-based environment that is ever-changing and with high expectations

Effectively able to communicate and engage with senior management and staff

High-energy professional, positive outlook and attitude that is collaborative, respectful and diligent

Track record of fostering positive working relationships

Results oriented, team-oriented and keen on contribution

Knowledge of aviation / airline industry (an asset)
