Materials Logistics Assistant (TE-VSC-BVOGRAE)

Your responsibilities

Join the team responsible for the vacuum systems of the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) the upgrade that will boost the performance of the worlds most powerful accelerator.

In this role you will contribute to the coordination of materials logistics and database support for all vacuum equipment involved in this major project.

Working across dedicated workshops laboratories and in the LHC tunnel area you will collaborate with students trainees experienced technicians and engineers in a highly motivating international environment.

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Logistics coordination : Track materials and supplies ensuring timely reception unpacking and correct storage or delivery of incoming orders.
• Database maintenance : Update and maintain the materials management system ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels orders and distribution.
• Order management : Verify deliveries against purchase orders report discrepancies or delays and assist with the preparation of outgoing shipments when required.
• User support : Act as the first point of contact for staff requiring materials or equipment assisting with locating reserving and issuing items.
• Documentation and reporting : Prepare simple reports on stock usage order status and delivery follow-ups for supervisors.
