Main Responsibilities : Reporting directly to a Key Account Manager, this position will lead part of the Sales, Profit and In-store performance of a global retailer.
Achieve Sales and P&L Plan
- Lead the Animations / promotional generated sales and P&L for the retailer (Europe).
- Define and follow budget targets to reach sales and profit levels.
- Continuously look for, and assess, new business opportunities within area.
Animations / Promotions activities
Negotiate promotional activities to develop the business.Update internal & external trackers.Forecasts innovations and non-saleable products.Define the assortment with the customer.Coordinate execution with the team (field sales force & merchandising).Define & track budget and align on target with the team.Plan the right level of support in the shops with the field sales force.ROI / Performance / sell-out analysis.Account management
Define and sell business plans at the retailer.Develop strong working relationship at all level of the retailer’s organization.Work with clients to maximize all aspects of business (in-shop space & locations, prices, investments, promotions…).In-Store excellence
Be the commercial leader to make happen in-store and with excellence the business plan negotiated.Leverage the multi-functional organization (In-store design, Marketing, Supply) as well as the dedicated local field-based organization dedicated to the retailerContinuously seek new opportunities in space and location to enhance brand image and visibilityMarket Intelligence : gather market information related to the industry (market size, distribution, pricing, launch results, ranking etc.)Challenges
Able to work independently & follow through with practical, actionable application.Work with a variety of people from various business and cultural background.Build account relationships at corporate and store level.Implement a variety of brand strategies.Travel ~20% of the time.Key Competencies
Strong collaboration and leadership skills required.Strong analytic and excel skills.Sharp organization skills – able to make the complex simple.A sharp eye for in-store excellence in execution.Excellent written and spoken communication.Language : Fluent English & French.University Graduate, Economy or business related.Experience in sales, marketing, trade marketing, and Beauty & Travel Retail experience a plus.
