Overview
SUMMARY
Support and manage all the technical components of the manufacturing systems, the laboratory equipment and the infrastructure of the Yverdon Bioplant, including servers and network equipment. Participate to optimize it in an efficient and proactive way. Participate to the IT support, have personal accountability and responsibility for coordinating all the different activities. Support for IT qualification and validation process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Responsible for the installation of the equipment in the Bioplant Process Science and Quality Control laboratories in the Site IT infrastructure.
- Responsible for the administration of the equipment in the Bioplant Process Science and Quality Control laboratories. (User management, technical support…)
- Responsible for providing IT end-users support.
- Responsible for the IT rooms housekeeping and material storage.
- Support for the good operation of the IT manufacture systems (PCS, MES, BAS…).
- Support the engineering and administration of various infrastructure components including Telephony and Videoconference systems, MS Windows servers, Linux servers, SQL / Oracle Database servers, Application servers, Storage & Backup Infrastructure and Active Directory.
- Support manufacturing activities and equipment.
- Support converged and hyper-converged environment, and maintain VMWare environments.
- Support IT Bioplant projects.
- Support IT Qualification and Validation process (FAT, SAT, IOQ).
- Implement upgrades, hot-fix installation, patch management and server updates.
- Ensure adoption of Service Desk request handling and escalation policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and / or perform hands-on fixes, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications
- Work closely with EU / US IT team to support day to day Infrastructure operations and support.
- Adhere to 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) protocols and procedural mechanisms including change control, documentation and governance.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceKnowledge of the following : data center facilities management, data center backbone networks, server farms, large-scale storage area networks (SAN) and data center provisioning processes.Experience with configuring and verifying enterprise best practicesExperience with VMware / virtual server experience & working knowledge of vSphere console, VMotion and VMWare managementKnowledge of Microsoft server products and applications, Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, RDSExperience with Wireshark and other troubleshooting toolsExperience with data center power & infrastructure wiring (copper, fiber)Experience integrating Voice, Data & video services over corporate LAN & WAN facilities.Experience with client applications including MS Office, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat, network management tools (Solarwinds), remote access programs (putty, SecureCRT), etc.Minimum 5 years equivalent work experience.Team work oriented mindsetStrong communication and documentation skillsDisclaimer : The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
