About the role

You will play a key role in supporting the organizations risk management this position you will assist in monitoring and analyzing reinsurance and investment risks so strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of risk management principles are essential. Your responsibilities include collecting and interpreting data preparing risk reports and contributing to the maintenance of an effective and robust risk management framework. You will work closely with the Risk Manager and other stakeholders to ensure accurate risk assessment and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Implement and maintain actuarial risk management protocols fostering a strong culture of risk awareness and compliance.

• Monitor adherence to the risk management framework and policies particularly in activities related to pricing exposure management and modeling.

• Support the definition and monitoring of insurance and investment risk metrics such as risk appetite tolerance capacity exposure and limits aligned with actuarial assumptions.

• Collect analyze and interpret actuarial data (claims experience premiums reserves cash flows) to provide transparency on risks and capital requirements.

• Perform in-depth risk analyses and technical reviews.

• Prepare regular actuarial risk reports and dashboards for senior management incorporating key indicators.

• Ensure accurate documentation and validation of internal models and actuarial processes in line with regulatory standards.

• Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and actuarial best practices.

Your profile

• You hold a relevant university degree; an actuarial qualification is a plus.

• Bring at least 3 years of experience in (re)insurance risk management or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of risk management finance and statistical methodologies.

• You are experienced in risk reporting model validation and P&C actuarial concepts (including SST/SII).

• You combine solid mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex issues.

• Proactive hands-on and have a strong problem-solving mindset.

• Communicate effectively (fluent in English; German is an advantage).

• You are detail-oriented collaborative and a positive team player.
