The Interim Head of Accounting will oversee and manage the accounting function within the organisation. This role involves leading a team of 10 accounting professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as leading key projects :
Accounting
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Payroll integration
- Travel cost & expenses integration
- Fixed assets
- Other subledgers
Consolidation / combination of group entities
Financial reporting incl. Annual Reports
Audit coordination
Tax recordsTax declarations, including collection of tax receivablesTax documentation, incl. intercompany documentationVAT, income taxes, cost taxesInternal controls & compliance with applicable legal, fiscal & accounting norms
Team leadership & development
Systems and technology, evolution of ERP, linked systems and interfaces
FP&A support
The successful Interim Head of Accounting will come with the following background and experience :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 5 years of team leadership experienceProficient knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations and French accounting standardsConsolidation experienceStrong understanding of internal controls and complianceProfessional fluency in English and French (both written and spoken) is essentialAdvanced proficiency in ERP systemsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsPragmatic, result-oriented mindsetDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and complianceProactive and adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentThe opportunity to join a prestigious institution.
