Our client is an international company operting in a fast peaced environment.

The Head of Accounting is a senior leadership position focused on overseeing and managing the accounting function within the organisation. This role involves leading a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as leading key projects.

Accounting

  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Payroll integration
  • Travel cost & expenses integration
  • Fixed assets
  • Other subledgers

Consolidation / combination of group entities

Financial reporting incl. Annual Reports

Audit coordination

  • Tax records
  • Tax declarations, including collection of tax receivables
  • Tax documentation, incl. intercompany documentation
  • VAT, income taxes, cost taxes

    • Internal controls & compliance with applicable legal, fiscal & accounting norms

    Team leadership & development

    Systems and technology, evolution of ERP, linked systems and interfaces

    FP&A support

  • CPA resp. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of team leadership experience .
  • Proficient knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations and French accounting standards.
  • Consolidation experience.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance.
