The Head of CTO Office plays a pivotal role within the IT department acting as the strategic and operational backbone of the CTO function. This role leads the CTO Office team in overseeing IT & Security governance budget project portfolio and thirdparty performance management. The position requires a dynamic leader who combines financial acumen operational excellence and a strong understanding of corporate governance within a highly regulated banking addition the Head of CTO Office ensures continuity of operations by serving as a backup for team members when required.
IT Governance & Regulatory
- Drive IT governance structures in alignment with group-wide standards;
- Facilitate regular steering committees and IT governance forums;
- Coordinate regulatory assessments audits and inspections related to IT;
- Ensure adherence to IT policies procedures and risk frameworks and provide periodic strategic reports to senior management;
Budgeting & Financial Control
Oversee the full IT & Security budget lifecycle from planning through execution to reporting;Drive cost optimization efforts;Third party performance management
Oversee vendor and contract management in coordination with Procurement;Ensure timely and appropriate performance monitoring of third party providers;Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a key interface between IT and other departments (Finance HR Internal Audit Compliance);Support the CIO in internal and external communications including board-level presentations;Align IT objectives with broader bank strategy;Management & Leadership
Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the CTO Office team;Structure team responsibilities set performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations;Promote a high-performance culture based on trust collaboration and professional growth;Champion change management efforts and lead internal communications;Qualifications :
Masters degree in Business Administration Information Technology or equivalent;Minimum of 810 years of experience in IT governance budgeting or strategic planning within financial services;Proven track record of leadership in managing cross-functional teams;Familiarity with Swiss banking regulations and IT compliance frameworks;Leadership and people-management abilities with a coach-like approach;Strong interpersonal and communication skills;Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving;Fluent French & English;Additional Information :
