Head of Legal and Compliance

Job Description

• Drive the firm's governance and compliance framework, including board support, compliance reporting, and follow-through on regulatory actions.
• Design and execute the compliance strategy, maintaining controls, regulatory registers incidents and remediation tracking.
• Lead AML & KYC across client and investor onboarding, including sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and escalation of suspicious activity.
• Ensure end-to-end regulatory compliance with Swiss FINMA requirements and coordinate governance for Luxembourg-domiciled funds.
• Act as a trusted legal and commercial advisor, drafting and negotiating, distribution and trading agreements, documentation and commercial contracts.
• Oversee cross-border distribution and marketing controls, including EU distribution rules, target market / suitability assessments, and marketing material reviews.
• Serve as the main point of contact for regulators, auditors, and external counsel, managing regulatory interactions and audits with confidence.
