Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with predefined service level agreements. This encompasses the thorough understanding and meticulous tracking of all service dependencies and proactive lifecycle management.YOUR CHALLENGE
Act as the first point of contact for Operations, Support, Maintenance and overarching Service Lifecycle
Maintain an IT Service or an infrastructure component, ensuring that Service Level Agreement and Operational Level Agreement are in place and fulfilled
Manage seamless operations end-to-end, collaborating closely with 1st, 2nd level, DevOps team, and external service providers
Act as gatekeeper for any change in the IT Service and ensure compliance with IT governance (e.g. Security, Risk Management, Technical Debt Management etc.)
Improve continuously the service quality, availability, performance, capacity, and knowledge management, actively contributing to the development of the Application Owner Manager community
Act as the Operations champion for new features. Ensure that the operational health of the platform is represented when new features are being defined
Own Service and Asset Configuration Management of allocated IT Services (HPSM, ARIS, IAM roles) as well as IT Service Continuity Management for allocated IT Services
Ensure proper tailoring and implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the Application Engineer and coordinate the transition into test and production environments
Responsible for measuring, documenting and optimizing Software usage including regular License Compliance Check in closed collaboration with SAM
YOUR PROFILE
10+ years of experience in projects or operational management of IT applications
Dynamic and agile mindset, being passionate about operations
Able to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, co-ordinational and leading skills
Proficiency in tools and technologies related to IT service management, Operations and Governance
Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and other relevant frameworks
Experience / understanding of Data Lake / Data Lake House technology stake (Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, VMware..)
Experience / understanding of Data architecture, data pipelines and data products
Proven experience in IT service management, operations, and IT governance
Relevant higher education and professional background within computer science
