Aviation Safety Manager

Your Role

  • Lead corporate safety management as the designated Safety Manager.
  • Expand the existing Safety Management System (SMS) to a group-wide framework.
  • Manage the Pilatus Safety Board and address SMS-related safety issues.
  • Conduct safety investigations, error assessments, and risk analyses.
  • Perform internal and external audits, deliver SMS training, and drive awareness campaigns.
  • Prepare safety reports with key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure SMS compliance.

Your Profile

  • Technical training with subsequent qualifications as a technician or engineer.
  • Advanced training and extensive experience in Quality & Safety Management within aviation, with solid knowledge of EASA regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English (C1 level).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, solution-oriented mindset, and pragmatic approach.
