We are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position :

Field Medical Advisor SBD (m / f / x)

The Position :

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Medical Strategy Planning and Execution Develops the Medical strategic plan in collaboration with Medical field functions and manager Prepares and develops Medical communication strategy to support infield Medical communication Represents a core member in the Brand Team for bringing in Medical strategic objectives Contributes to the development of the regulatory and value dossier as required Drives company sponsored clinical studies at local level in close collaboration with ClinOps Provides scientific support to customer facing functions and conducts internal trainings to keep them updated on clinical data and scientific insights for field readiness Creates a “library” of approved Medical materials to be used for infield based on requirements Reviews and approves promotional materials as needed Manages budget and ensures deliverables in a timely fashion, tracked and reported on status
  • Customer Engagement and Insights Generation Translates the Medical plan into national and regional key engagements for providing top KEEs with right kinds of customer-centric activities and with the potential to leverage scale of innovations Liaises with thought leaders and medical centers to enhance acceptance and advocacy of Daiichi Sankyo contributions to advancing medical practice within the scientific community Organizes Advisory Boards to identify strategic gaps and generate insights from KEEs Initiates, conceptualizes and executes national medical and scientific educational events Facilitates clinical activities and evidence generations at a local stage to move the paradigm by understanding and consulting the KEE networks Coordinates the development of engagement planner for congresses Systematically gathers and distils customer feedback into consolidated insights for sharing with Brand Team and for translating into strategy Responds reactively and compliantly to Medical information inquiries as needed
  • Capability Building Maintains excellent knowledge of our healthcare environment by competitive intelligence Ensures that key information is communicated throughout the local Daiichi Sankyo teams in an accurate and timely manner Continuously develops own professional skills, expertise in behavioural techniques and therapy area knowledge in order to make a valued contribution to the development of individual and team performance, harnessing this knowledge by providing a broad perspective to strategic discussions Is ambassador for activities which increase team spirit and a higher performing team Conducts all activities in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and internal standard procedures

Education & Professional Experience :

  • A solid and proven scientific background with an university degree, preferably in human medicine, pharmacy or a PhD in Natural Sciences
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a Medical Advisor role where there is strong evidence of gaining healthcare professional insight and providing medical input into Brand strategy, preferably in the assigned Therapeutic Area
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven collaborative skills in a cross-functional team environment
  • Solid knowledge in Swiss regulations and regulatory framework relevant for pharmaceutical market
  • Project management experience (preferably in Medical Affairs)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English; French language benefitial
  • Strong team player and customer experience comes first focus
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently, pro-active and flexible with a hands-on mentality
