IT System Technician (m / w / d)

We are currently supporting our client in the Luzern region in the search for an experienced IT System Technician (m / w / d) to play a key role in onboarding and offboarding customers into a secure, cloud-based IT environment.

In this role, you’ll become part of a dedicated team of three IT professionals, led by an experienced project manager. Together, you’ll work on a Swiss-hosted remote desktop infrastructure designed specifically for public sector clients such as municipalities and local governments. Each customer is provided with their own virtual server and a secure VPN connection to their local network.

Main Responsibilities :

• Creating and setting up RDS servers
• Configuring VPN connections
• Creating AD user accounts for customers
• Setting up NTFS file storage and permissions based on a permission matrix
• Integrating M365 tenants into our Microsoft Partner Center
• Installing customer-specific third-party and / or cantonal applications on the RDS server
• Setting up customer tenants in the ERP system
• Migrating data from other IT service providers (file storage, SQL databases)
• Performing database migrations (executing scripts)
• Installing and configuring network components at customer sites (field service)
