YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the development of the groupwide CO2 reduction and transition roadmap on the path to carbon neutrality
  • Generate the annual CO2 and environmental balance sheet, continuously expanding its data scope
  • Enhance carbon accounting methodologies across all emission scopes
  • Coordinate annual climate reporting to meet regulatory (CSRD) and voluntary commitments
  • Lead the annual CDP disclosures, from data collection to submission
  • Conduct scenario analysis and regularly assess climate-related risks and opportunities
  • Provide input for ESG / sustainability ratings, with a focus on climate-related aspects
  • Monitor CO2 target progress, ensuring KPIs are tracked, evaluated and reported accurately
  • Calculate product carbon footprints and perform lifecycle assessments
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments related to CO2 and sustainability issues
  • Participate in and contribute to specific sustainability-related project

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in environmental science, sustainability, environmental management, or a quantitative field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or in sustainability consulting
  • Proven expertise in creating carbon and environmental balance sheets
  • Experience in product carbon footprint calculations and lifecycle assessments
  • Deep understanding of climate risks, opportunities, and carbon accounting principles
  • Knowledge about sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., ESRS, GRI, CDP, TCFD, GHG Protocol)
  • High affinity for analytical tasks, with attention to detail and proficiency in handling large datasets
  • Strong coordination skills to manage cross-functional tasks effectively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
