This role is part of our Digital Marketing team based in Zürich and Berlin. Together we focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions for some of the worlds leading brands such as Meta TikTok eBay Netflix Logitech Philips and more while fostering an environment of global collaboration and innovation.

JOB PURPOSE

Our SEO team helps clients strengthen their online presence and achieve sustainable growth through organic search and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). As an Senior SEO Consultant youll be a strategic partner - understanding client needs constructively challenging goals assessing feasibility and providing actionable solutions.

This role requires solid SEO expertise strategic planning skills and a results-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate can manage and optimize SEO strategies end-to-end while collaborating effectively across teams. You are analytical and critical yet creative and curious - with the ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations that drive measurable impact. While prior experience with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is not required you should be eager to learn and develop expertise in this emerging field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement effective SEO/GEO strategies that align with client objectives and target audiences.
• Independently manage and advise medium to large client projects
• Conduct SEO/GEO audits strategy concepts and analyses (e.g. keyword/prompt research technical checks content checks backlink audits).
• Monitor and analyze performance prepare clear reports and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
• Guide and delegate tasks to junior team members and trainees ensuring quality assurance and supporting their development.
• Collaborate across teams and stakeholders ensuring SEO/GEO initiatives are integrated into broader digital strategies.
• Stay up to date with SEO trends and innovations (including AI-driven search and Generative Engine Optimization) and adapt client strategies accordingly.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by supporting internal trainings workshops or client education sessions.
• Ensure efficient project delivery within defined budgets and timelines.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Fluency in German and English both spoken and written (French is a plus).
• At least 5 years of professional experience as an in-house SEO or in an SEO agency.
• Expert knowledge in various SEO disciplines especially technical SEO.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into impactful recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of translating complex SEO concepts into clear actionable advice for clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage projects independently while also collaborating effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Confidence in common SEO tools MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Curiosity and willingness to stay ahead of industry trends including AI-driven search and emerging practices like GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
• A proactive critical and creative mindset with a drive to deliver measurable results.
