Energy Regulation Analyst

Energy Regulation Analyst DXT is at the avant-garde of international renewable and traditional energy optimization and trade. A continuously evolving global energy marketplace brings with it increasing regulatory complexities, the real-time analysis of which is fundamental to the business we conduct. Our Regulatory Affairs Department is looking to strengthen its team to meet these new challenges. Candidates will ideally have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the context of energy regulation or a similar field. They will have an analytical approach to their work with the skill to target and summarise crucial information accurately. Good communication is also a must, as is a desire to learn and grow within the area. Principal tasks : Analysis of national and European legislation : power and environmental markets Relationships with Regulators and institutional bodies + Relationships with trade associations Support for dispatching activities (renewable asset contractual and operational management – Italy / Spain) Requirements : Languages : Italian and English proficiency (French / Spanish / German are a plus) Education : Master’s degree in technical, scientific, legal or economic disciplines 1-2 year working experience in similar roles Knowledge of wholesale power market (gas market is a plus) Knowledge of issues related to decarbonisation and energy certificates trading (e.G. GOs) Curiosity and desire to learn Strong analytical approach together with the ability to summarise and report Accuracy and ability to organize / plan work Ability to relate with interlocutors from different areas (institutional, commercial, colleagues from different departments) and mediation skills Ability to work both autonomously and within a team : collaborative spirit and good communication skills are essential Concreteness and problem-solving skills About us : Competitive salary.
