We are looking for an
enthusiastic and hands-on MES Specialist with experience in Siemens
MES / Opcenter to support our client in Bern. This role is ideal
for someone with a solid understanding of testing, execution
processes, and validation databases, who enjoys working in a
dynamic environment and contributing to continuous improvement
initiatives.
You will collaborate with
cross-functional teams, participate in testing and validation
activities, and help ensure that manufacturing execution systems
operate reliably and efficiently.
This is a
part-time role (40–50%), offering a great opportunity for someone
seeking flexibility while continuing to grow their expertise in MES
solutions.
Key
Responsibilities
Support and maintain
the MES (Siemens) environment, ensuring stability and alignment
with manufacturing
processes.
Execute and
document testing activities, including test scripts, execution
tracking, and
reporting.
Work with
validation databases, ensuring compliance with internal standards
and regulatory
requirements.
Collaborate
with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify
improvements and support ongoing MES
enhancements.
Assist with
configuration tasks and troubleshooting issues within MES
modules.
(Optional but
valuable) Contribute to projects involving Opcenter functionalities
and integrations.
Prepare
documentation, user guides, and training materials when
needed.
Required
Qualifications
Approximately 3–5 years
of experience working with MES systems, ideally
Siemens-based.
Strong
understanding of testing, test execution, and validation
processes.
Experience
working with validation
databases.
Excellent
communication skills in English (C1) and German
(C1).
Ability to work
independently, with a practical approach to
problem-solving.
Hands-on
experience with Siemens Opcenter (highly beneficial but not
mandatory).
Experience in
regulated or manufacturing environments (pharma, medtech,
industrial).
Knowledge of
automation or integration
technologies.
