IT Support Analyst with SAP Basis experience

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an expert when it comes to SAP Basis? Do you have proven ability to solve complex issues, covering both technical and business needs?

If so, we are looking for an IT support analyst who will be working as part of the Group Functions Finance Team to manage large and complex SAP landscape with multiple systems in Zürich. The role requires a mix of remote and on-site work in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support multiple SAP systems
• Perform patch updates, kernel upgrades and system upgrades to ensure the landscape is consistent
• Troubleshoot incidents, debug SAP and Database (Oracle and HANA) and define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
• Monitor SAP performance, workload statistics, analysis and tuning
• Manage storage solutions for virtual database files, hard disks and application data
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Share knowledge, support, train and coach other team members

Requirements

• Ideally 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis
• Proficient in Linux and Windows with expertise in Oracle and HANA
• Experience in SAP router, System Landscape Directory and troubleshooting of ABAP and Java platforms
• Exposure to Azure technology for SAP hosted systems
• Proficient with other software development tools, such as JIRA, GitHub
• Ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking
• Confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
• ITIL qualified and proficient in using Service Now is an advantage
• Fluent English skill is a must, German language skill is a significant advantage
