The Church in the canton of Vaud is looking for : A pastoral agent (50%) The Church in the canton of Vaud is looking for a pastoral agent (50%) responsible for the ecumenical dialogue within the department of and support for Adults. The Roman Church in the canton of Vaud deploys its presence throughout the canton with more than 50 parishes, 5 departments, and 5 language missions, involving 270 and many volunteers who implement the values of the department of and support for Adults, which is active in the areas of Adult ministry (volunteers, pastoral agents, general public), promotion of spiritual life, couple and family pastoral care, volunteer engagement as well as ecumenism and interreligious dialogue across the canton. Main missions : Design and facilitate conferences and colloquiums to promote the ecumenical dimension in pastoral work. Organize and coordinate prayers and ecumenical meetings for pastoral agents, volunteers, and the general public. Contribute to Forum X with representatives from Reformed and other Christian traditions. Participate in the work of the Community of Christian Churches (CECCV) : meetings (board and committee), tasks (minutes, accounting, and updating files), various ecumenical tasks, and the General Assembly, in close coordination with the equivalent from the Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton of Vaud. Engage in pastoral reflections on ecumenical dialogue in relation to pastoral care. Welcome and handle ecumenical requests from groups and cantonal bodies, in collaboration with the relevant partners. Requirements : Theological training (university level). Excellent knowledge of the Church, its teachings, and its commitments in ecumenical dialogue. Understanding of the pastoral landscape in Vaud and its functioning. Proven experience in the management of projects, networks, and events. Experience in adult education and / or theological or pastoral teaching. Strong writing skills and ease in working as part of a team, networking, and in a discernment dynamic, autonomy, and a spirit of collaboration. Workplace : Boulevard de Grancy 29 – Lausanne, and travel within the canton as needed. Start date : immediately or to be agreed upon.
