Our client, a multinational company headquartered in Fribourg, Switzerland, is searching for the new Head of IT to join and lead the team across locations.
Tasks
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of IT will ensure that IT delivers a robust and reliable IT infrastructure
Provide a fantastic user experience for users internationally
Develop and implement department and supplier SLAs
Provide expertise and advice at the most senior level on policy and strategy
Analyse business requirements of all departments to determine its technology needs
Lead and motivate your team
Ensure effective people management systems in place, deliver training and progression opportunities, manage business succession needs
Provide technical and operational support to the department when required
Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
Proven hands-on approach to tasks and challenges
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role including management responsibility
God technical understanding of (MS products, VMware, Fortinet, Cisco, Citrix, MSSQL, MS Exchange, SharePoint, Avaya)
In depth knowledge of analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
Sound, general understanding of computer systems (hardware / software), networks, telecommunications
Excellent project planning and management skills
Fresh and energetic approach, focussed on delivering continuous improvement
Demonstrable track record in delivering successful large network solutions
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Willingness to international travel, approx. 25% (peak times)
French and English fluent, written and spoken a must
