On behalf of our client, an internationalpany within FMCG based in Zurich, Swisslinx is looking for a Senior Accountant. This is a great opportunity to bring your proven knowledge and expertise to an organization that offers a dynamic working environment.

Contract type : Permanent

Start Date : Flexible - but the sooner the better

Location : Zurich

Workload : 80% or 100%

Work type : 5 DAYS PER WEEK OFFICE PRESENCE

Your mission :

  • Management of operational financial accounting including accounts receivable and accounts payable via Abacus.
  • Processing ongoing accounting transactions for allpanies in the Group.
  • Preparation of VAT statements.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations for the Swiss grouppanies.
  • Responsible for preparing the quarterly and annual financial statements of the foreign subsidiaries in accordance withmercial law subsidiaries (together with the local trustee).
  • Active participation in the preparation of financial statements and reporting.
  • Support in the digitalization of accounting processes.

Your background :

  • Fluency in German and a minimum level of English B2.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience with accounting.
  • At least 4 years of experience Swiss GAAP.
  • Good user knowledge of ERP systems (finance module), ideally experience with Abacus.
  • Experience with Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly closings.
  • Trustworthiness, reliability, discretion and an independent and precise way of working.
