Senior Revenue Accountant 100% ASAP

Our client is a medium-sized company operating in the medical devices industry. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and financial accuracy.

Financial Accounting & Month-End Closing

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities.

Prepare journal entries (discounts, rebates, deferrals, deductions, return provisions).

Calculate bad debt provisions.

Apply revenue cut?off rules and ASC 606 revenue recognition.

Ensure correct accounting of lease revenue.

Reconcile all revenue?related balance sheet accounts.

Ensure accuracy of revenue accounting and shipment cut?off.

Ensure compliance with US, Swiss GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.

Support year?end audit preparation.

Provide ongoing support to the GL team.

AR Management

Issue invoices, credit notes, and statements accurately and on time.

Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts.

Reconcile AR sub-ledger with the general ledger.

Resolve payment discrepancies.

Reconcile bank statements with accounting records.

Work with customers to clear unapplied payments.

Serve as escalation point for AR clerks.

Act as main contact for auditors on AR and revenue topics.

Business Partnering

Produce reports to support business decisions.

Maintain the EMEA pricing matrix.

Track and analyze payment rejection trends.

Drive process improvements to reduce rejection rates.

Support KPI development (DSO, aging, bad debt) and provide insights to leadership.

A successful SENIOR REVENUE ACCOUNTANT should have :

6 years' experience in private industry experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations, and month end closing process experience.

Experience working with shared service centers

Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting rules.

Familiarity with AR and GL modules of ERP systems.

Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Able to assert own ideas and persuade others through effectively consolidating, evaluating, and presenting relevant information.

Skilled at promoting team cooperation and commitment to team success

Adept at seeing change as an opportunity to improve business performance and campaigning for it when necessary.

Fluency in English, any other languages will be an advantage
