AI Engineer

Typewise (YC S22) is an AI Agent Platform for customer service teams where orchestrated, fully agentic systems resolve customer requests end-to-end by taking real actions across an enterprise’s entire tech stack. Fortune 500 companies including Unilever and DPD rely on Typewise to cut operational effort while improving communication quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Our platform blends the latest advances in large language models with proprietary AI technology developed together with ETH Zurich’s world-leading AI Center. We integrate seamlessly with complex enterprise environments such as CRM, ERP, knowledge bases, and custom systems, while meeting the highest standards of security, privacy, and reliability.

We’re looking for a  AI Engineer (full-time, based in Zürich)  to join our AI team, which currently comprises three AI Engineers and an MLOps Engineer.

About the role

As part of our AI team, you'll research and implement novel approaches to natural language understanding, multi-agent coordination, and hybrid AI-human systems. You'll architect solutions that seamlessly integrate with 200+ systems via deep native integrations and MCPs, giving you exposure to real-world, production-scale challenges that push the boundaries of what's possible with AI. The direct feedback loop with our customers allows you to iterate rapidly on techniques that deliver measurable business impact to reduce effort by over 50% while maintaining quality and control through sophisticated hybrid intelligence architectures.
