Technical Service Specialist - Gearless Mill Drive

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will ensure the effective delivery of the Service portfolio according to ABB's standard processes and safety guidelines, ensuring customer satisfaction. Each day, you will provide technical support, act as a specialist, and solve problems within your area of expertise. You will also leverage your expertise by proactively communicating with both customers and ABB service sales and life cycle management teams to understand customer needs and capitalize on business opportunities for service growth. The role includes on-site assignments up to 40% of the time.

The work model for the role is :

You will be mainly accountable for :

• Providing technical support and solving problems via remote or on-site service, including installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, trouble shooting, back-office engineering and consulting, retrofit engineering, etc.
• Investigating customer needs through professional consulting. Additionally, managing custom-er relationships and maintaining regular contact with key customers and acting as 24 / 7 sup-port line for one complete week, approx. every two months, depending on availability.
• Proactively suggesting product and quality improvements and communicating them within the ABB organization.
• Providing technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers. You will join a truly international and dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.
