The Opportunity

As the Regional Lead for the Enterprise Contracting Center EMEA, you'll help foster meaningful relationships and driving collaboration across all levels of our organization and with our external partners. You will focus on creating a positive and engaging experience throughout the contracting process, ensuring agreement, transparency, and mutual benefit for all stakeholders involved. If you value building connections, facilitating dialogue, and driving impactful outcomes through creative contracting, this is the role for you. This is a Senior Manager Level Role.

The Role

Key Responsibilities :

1. Stakeholder Support :

  • Work with internal stakeholders, including business units, legal teams, procurement departments.
  • Be a trusted advisor and partner, understanding their needs, concerns, and goals to lead collaborative solutions.

2. External Partner Engagement :

  • Build partnerships and trust with our external partners, vendors, and clients, establishing productive working relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.
  • Be the face of our organization in external negotiations, representing our values and commitment to partnership.
  • 3. Communication and Collaboration :

  • Facilitate open channels, ensuring that all partners are informed and engaged throughout the contracting process.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, encouraging dialogue and knowledge sharing.
  • 4. Negotiation Facilitation :

  • Lead negotiations always balancing the interests of all parties.
  • Employ negotiation techniques and conflict resolution strategies to navigate complex discussions and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • 5. Continuous Improvement Initiatives :

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and service enhancement, soliciting feedback from partners and implementing applicable solutions.
  • 6. Risk Management and Compliance :

  • Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Your Skills and Experience

  • Attorney at Law, Law degree or equivalent foreign degree
  • Additional qualification in contract law, pharmaceutical law a plus
  • 5+ years of experience managing global contracts throughout their life cycle from drafting templates to negotiating agreements up to setting up and optimizing contract processes.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry preferred.
  • International travel might be required, 10%
