We are looking for an experienced HPC System Engineer for our client in Zurich, who is eager to work at the forefront of scientific high-performance computing technology. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for optimizing and advancing scientific applications on hybrid CPU+GPU architectures, while providing personalized support to researchers.
Your Responsibilities :
- Porting scientific applications to hybrid CPU+GPU architectures (e.g., Nvidia Grace Hopper, AMD Instinct).
- Compilation, testing, debugging, performance analysis, and optimization of HPC applications.
- Automating installation processes with CI / CD pipelines (Kubernetes, Singularity / Apptainer, Spack).
- Supporting researchers through workshops, tutorials, and personalized assistance.
- Collaborating closely with DevOps and User Support teams within the HPC group.
Your Profile :
Degree in Computer Science or a related field.Experience with large-scale scientific computing applications.Strong knowledge in parallelization, optimization, and compilation of complex open-source codes.Proficiency in Bash, Python, C / C++, Fortran, MPI, and OpenMP.Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.Excellent communication skills in English.Top Benefits :
