SENIOR BUSINESS MANAGER & DEPUTY COO - PRIVATE BANKING
Job description
- Lead the implementation and execution of the Regional COO activity, focusing on Technology, Operations, and Products for Private Bank Wealth Management, ensuring high-performance business delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and execute the PBWM COO vision and strategy, supporting business growth and scalability.
- Oversee platform procedures and practices, ensuring they meet global standards while maintaining effective risk management, client service, and control measures.
- Manage cost budgeting, headcount, and ensure financial control aligns with business requirements.
- Lead strategic change in the regional COO, collaborating across various functions and managing outsourced functions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bank's Operational Risk Framework.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, reducing inefficiencies, and delivering improved client and colleague experiences.
- Provide leadership to the team, coaching and mentoring colleagues, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Represent PBWM COO in dealing with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
Required profile
Extensive experience in a senior operations role within the financial services industry, with a focus on Private Banking and Wealth Management.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, operational procedures, and risk management within the private banking sector.Proven track record of leading operational teams, implementing strategic change, and managing complex processes in a high-pressure environment.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment, with a client-first mindset.Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; other languages are a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements and innovation.All files will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
