High Voltage Product is known worldwide as a specialist in power transmission and distribution. As a local business unit of High Voltage Products, Supply Chain Management is responsible for the entire logistics and procurement process of our products within Generator Circuit Breakers.

We are looking for an Operating Unit Supply Chain Manager for our site in Zurich-Oerlikon. In this challenging leadership role, you will develop, plan and implement the procurement strategy, focusing on optimizing cost, delivery and supplier quality. Your responsibilities

Drive Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB) sourcing strategy in line with business strategy

Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements

Drive improvements in cost, quality and delivery in accordance with Group guidelines and local division / business unit objectives

Manage the planning and tracking of procurement activities, ensuring risk mitigation and cost saving measures

Monitor procurement processes and activities and proactively work to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality and delivery to ensure the plant is running smoothly at all times

Define and establish local standard agreements with all major local suppliers in accordance with company policy

Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, qualified and managed, leading, motivating and developing subordinates in accordance with our HR policies

Your background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management and / or Engineering

Several years of experience in a similar role, supported by a solid understanding of the procure to pay processes in an industrial environment

Knowledge of the high voltage product market would be an asset

Strong leadership experience or clearly demonstrated leadership potential

Fluency in English and German. Other language skills would be an asset

High energy and drive to work in a dynamic and global environment

Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization

Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and a proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders
