Position : Data Operations Specialist

Contract type : Permanent, Flexible working, Part Time (21 hours per week)
Salary : 50% FTE
What you will be doing :
As a Data Operations Specialist , you will play a key role in providing accurate, actionable insights to support Supply Chain performance across the business, including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations. You will act as a trusted expert in data management and business intelligence, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across all systems and reporting processes. In this role, you will also proactively identify opportunities to streamline data workflows, optimise reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that help the organisation operate more efficiently and effectively.
Role Responsibilities :
Supply Planning, Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Management
- Gather and analyse data from multiple sources, prepare clear communications, and challenge stakeholders during monthly E&O meetings across all segments (Osprey, Hydroflask, OXO, B&W).
- Supporting Sales and Marketing by reviewing and validating obsolete and clearance product lists.
- Acting as a key communication link between Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
Safety Stock Management
Define and update monthly safety stock levels within the ERP system (Oracle).Partner with Supply and Demand Planning teams to ensure consistent and accurate safety stock parameters across all product ranges.Inventory Analysis
Develop automated reports and tools to support Supply Planning with clear visibility of projected vs. actual inventory levels.Consolidate historical sales, procurement, and inventory data to support accurate forecasting.Provide timely, accurate analysis to support strategic decisions around inventory health and performance.Master Data Management
Serve as the primary contact for Master Data across EMEA, supporting all internal departments (Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory,Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal standards across all systems.Maintain, update, and correct item master data within the ERP system, collaborating with Global Master Data teams and regional stakeholders.Business Intelligence, Reporting & Communication
Create, design, and maintain reports and dashboards using Helen of Troy BI tools and Excel to support operational performance monitoring.Ensure clear communication and training for stakeholders on topics including E&O, Safety Stock, Inventory, Master Data, and ad‑hoc analysis.Maintain shared datasets and files, ensuring they remain accurate, accessible, and reliable for cross-functional use.Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of BI tools within the Operations function.Skills needed to be successful in this role :

University degree in Data Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Previous experience in Supply Chain or Operations, ideally within a data‑focused role.Strong interest in data analysis and a passion for working with large datasets.Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data modelling; VBA experience is an advantage.Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and process optimisation.Experience with ERP and BI tools, such as Oracle, Power BI, or similar platforms.Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.What do we offer?
