Mobile Network Engineer, 100% In Zug

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled  Mobile Network Engineer  to support the planning, deployment, and optimization of  4G LTE ,  5G NSA ,  5G SA , and  5G private networks . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of end-to-end mobile network architecture, signaling protocols (including  SS7 ,  Diameter ,  SIP ,  NGAP ), and experience working across both public and private mobile network environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and enterprise partners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and optimize mobile network infrastructure for  4G LTE ,  5G NSA ,  5G SA , and  5G private networks .
• Lead or support the implementation of  private 5G networks  for enterprise or industrial use cases (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, campus networks).
• Configure and troubleshoot mobile network signaling protocols such as  SS7 ,  Diameter ,  S1AP ,  NGAP , and  SIP .
• Integrate core and RAN components for both public and private mobile networks, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
• Analyze network KPIs and implement performance tuning for optimal user experience.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners for equipment selection, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure network solutions align with 3GPP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document network architectures, configurations, and best practices for both public and private network implementations.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies in 5G, ORAN, edge computing, and network slicing.
