The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for executing tactical procurement activities within the organization. This includes managing sourcing requests, applying sourcing strategies, conducting request for proposal processes, negotiating with suppliers, and overseeing the full contract lifecycle. The role supports the implementation of category strategies and ensures alignment with internal procurement policies and global objectives. The Sourcing Specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders and category managers to drive efficiency, compliance, and value creation across sourcing operations.
Your Responsibilities :
- Execute tactical procurement activities across Fresenius Kabi units
- Clarify requirements, align specifications, and manage sourcing requests
- Conduct RFP processes, evaluate proposals, and lead supplier negotiations
- Oversee supplier selection, awarding decisions, and contract management
- Monitor contract performance, renewals, and compliance
- Maintain supplier data and ensure adherence to procurement standards
- Analyze procurement and supplier data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support supplier segmentation, risk assessments, and Supplier Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Track and report procurement KPIs and savings initiatives
- Support local departments and the Country Procurement Lead in negotiations
- Contribute to the rollout of procurement IT tools (SAP Ariba, SAP S / 4HANA)
- Conduct training sessions for local procurement teams
Your Profile :
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of procurement experience, ideally in an international environmentStrong background in tactical sourcing and supplier negotiationsSolid understanding of procurement regulations and frameworksProficient in MS Office; experience with Power BI and SAP MM preferredKnowledge of SAP Ariba is an advantageStrong analytical and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented mindset with strong organizational abilitiesFluency in English and German is essential, both oral and writtenWhat We Offer :
