Your Responsibilities

Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and IT teams, supporting clients in the design and delivery of digital solutions with high business impact within a banking environment.

Gather, analyze, and critically assess business requirements from banking users, ensuring clarity, consistency, and feasibility.

Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and robust technical designs.

Design and implement solutions end-to-end, from initial analysis through development, testing, and deployment.

Ensure delivered solutions are aligned with business objectives, regulatory and compliance requirements, and internal IT standards.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams combining deep expertise in banking, architecture, and software engineering to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

Assess emerging technologies in terms of maturity, feasibility, and business value, and contribute to architecture and tooling decisions based on these evaluations.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Several years of experience in a consulting environment, preferably in financial services.

Strong hands-on experience with Java and modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate).

Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).

Experience with modern architectures and technologies : REST APIs, messaging, microservices, event streaming platform, container orchestration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Avaloq experience is a plus.

Familiarity with the banking domain and an agile, learning-oriented mindset.

Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (client site, remote, office).

Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
