  • Responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the development team (approx. 60pp, multi-site).
  • Conception and development of technology platforms and modules with regard to cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensuring the efficient and quality-compliant implementation of development and customer projects.
  • Responsible of control and adherence to schedules, budgets and performance targets.
  • Supports and engages to create a collaborative, innovative and future oriented work environment.
  • Lives and promotes the company's values and initiatives, and sets a good role model for compliance and best practices.
  • Supports change and acts as change management program sponsor in the whole organisation.
  • Promotes sharing of knowledge within the company and facilitates the interaction in the group matrix structure.
  • Contribute to the 3 to 5 years strategic plan of the company, represent the technological standpoint with input and facts.
  • Drive Product Development Roadmap process.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and industry regulations to ensure that the strategies are well aligned.
  • Responsible for business case development that support the new product development investments.
  • Oversee development time-line and provide guidance to the development steering committee.
  • Ensure the voice of the customer is understood by the R&D team when developing or updating products.
  • Act as ambassador for the company, visit new and existing customers and OEM partners together with sales network to assist in the customer focused approach to present and deliver excellent technical solutions.
  • Master degree or PhD in Engineering or equivalent development path
  • Complementary MBA / post graduate degree preferred
  • Proven experience in leading a large multidisciplinary engineering team in a complex environment and across several locations
  • Electrical and mechanical competences, ability to understand how complex systems work (Hardware, Software, Fluid dynamics, Vision…)
  • Experience in Contract Management
  • Knowledge in machine technology
  • Knowledge in digital workflow and pricing technology
  • Knowledge in Lean and regulated supply chain expertise
  • English and German proficiency, additional languages preferred- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Coaching and guidance skills, Conflict Management skills
  • Emotional intelligence across different cultures
  • Ability to lead, influence and engage
  • Excellent presentation skills
